

Carole Odom Diller, 88, of Killeen Texas died peacefully at Canyon Creek Memory Care Center surrounded by her family on December 31, 2021. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Col (Ret) Richard Wells Diller of 62 years.
Born in San Antonio TX, June 24,1933, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Thomas Odom and Lee Ellen Odom of San Antonio, Texas. She was a graduate of Incarnate Word College in San Antonio and Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.
Mrs. Diller spent 34 years in education spanning many states. Much of her time as an educator was spent in Killeen ISD. She was a teacher, Math Consultant, Assistant Principal and Principal of Duncan Elementary in Killeen.
Mrs. Diller enjoyed racing and competing in rally’s with their Porsche Cars. She was a member of the Maverick Porsche Club with her husband. She was an avid tennis player with a court at her home. She spent many hours with friends, neighbors and family playing tennis.
Mrs. Diller was an accomplished artist who enjoyed offering her paintings to businesses for auctions, friends, family, and the church.
Mrs. Diller was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard. She was a loving mother to her daughter Suzanne Diller Perez and loving mother-in-law to Michael Perez. She leaves many cousins who loved her dearly. Also, the many years of adopted or orphaned dogs and cats who found a forever home with the Diller’s.
The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm Monday January 10, 2022 at Lifeway Fellowship Baptist Church. Visitation is at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home Sunday January 9, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the CTRW Scholarship Endowment Foundation or donation of choice.
