Conner Thomas Haun was born on April 3, 2006. He was born with a smile on his face, trying to make you laugh. As a child Conner was chasing his big brothers, pestering his uncles and loving on his Dee Dee. As Conner started to grow and learned how to be a big brother himself, he became the protector. Even thought he would love to fight with women in his life… Maria, Faithlynn, and Melissa, he loved them dearly and always wanted to protect them.
Conner’s life was filled with sports, fishing, hunting and going fast. At the age of 3 he started riding motorcycles, four wheelers, and driving in Dad’s lap. He grew to love cars and had aspirations to become a Porche mechanic and later open his own shop with his Dad.
Conner’s time on earth was short but it made an impact weather it was on the field, in the woods, or on the streets. Conner was going to be laughing, making crazy faces, or terrorizing the roads.
Conner had faith! As a child he was baptized at Harker Heights Methodist Church. Later at an FCA summer youth camp professed his faith.
With all of the great trips, hunts, and excursions that Conner had been on, the last three months brought him the greatest joy. Conner found peace and confidence. He had went and found his first job at Don Ringler Toyota as a lube tech. Through Discovery he found a quiet confidence to be able to speak in front of crowds. He stayed with is best friend Christian, so they could graduate together and he would not have to be at a new school all alone. He was also able to experience love for the first time with his girl, Conny’s Girl. If there was a right time in life to leave this world, this was it. God called him home. He was at peace, happy, and full of love. No more heartache, loneliness, or fear, just pure joy.
Conner was preceded in death by his mother, Robin Boniface, grandparents, John L and Darlene (Dee Dee) Haun and Billy Mac Allman. He was also preceded in death by Great Grandparents, John & Kate Haun and Thomas & Levada Gallaway.
