She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Floyd Franks and Ima Jean Franks and her sister, Carolyn Franks Young. Survivors include her sons, JF Sanchez and Stephen Sanchez, her brothers, Ron Franks and Steve Franks and her sister, Judy Franks Taylor. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews and many friends who loved her.
Debbie was an aide with KISD for over 20 years, working with special needs children, leaving a piece of her heart with each child with whom she worked. She also worked at H&R Block as a Senior Tax Analyst. She volunteered as an interpreter for the deaf at church. She discovered she had a talent for making jam and soon began her business, Homemade Jams by Debbie.
A visitation will be at noon on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM.
