CW3 (Ret.) Franklin Acfalle Villagomez

Services for retired Chief Warrant Officer-3 Franklin Acfalle “Ankie” Villagomez will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen.

Mr. Villagomez died Aug. 12, 2012, in Temple. He was born Oct. 15, 1949, in Guam.

He served three tours in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star. After retiring from the Army, he owned and operated Ankie Automotive Repairs of Killeen.

Mr. Villagomez was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria Villagomez; in-laws, Joaquin and Celistina Taijto Reyes; and daughter, BibiAnna Rose Reyes Villagomez.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Reyes Villagomez; daughters, Tina Cruz and her husband, Carlos, Sherrylee Wilder and her husband, Jason; grandchildren, BiAnaLyn, Jadon, Searena, Shelldon, Alexander, Christian, Jovelena, John Robert, Selena, Lance, Analisa and Brad; godsons, Kenny Camacho and his wife, Prisicilla, Bobby and John Cruz, “close relatives.”

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

One of my favorite memories with my papa was when we were watching wwe raw at his house we were sitting on the floor laughing and talking about wrestling I will always think of him and keep him in my heart and keep his legacy alive .
