George Chinea Jr.

George was born June 17. 1985 in New Port News, VA to George Chinea Sr. and Livia Shadeck Chinea. He passed on August 14, 2020 in Odessa, TX. He attended Ellison High School, Texas State Technical College, and Sam Houston State University where he earned his BS in Construction Management.

George married Lauren Manuele in 2016 and lived in Mesquite, TX. He and Lauren have twin boys, George III and Michael Andrew, who are 14 months old. He was employed at ProFrac in Odessa at the time of his passing. Friends and family describe George as larger than life, loyal, genuine, a true family man, and as someone who never met a stranger.

George was preceded in death by his Grandmother Silvia Chester, Grandfather Jorge Chinea, Aunt Nilda Chinea Jewel, and Uncle Edward Chinea.

George is survived by his wife and children, his mother Livia Chinea and Tim Caddell of Killeen, his father and step mother George Sr. and Debbie Chinea, sister Darlene Chinea (Mark) Reed all of Huntsville, AL and a brother, 2LT Patrick Chinea of Ft. Benning, GA. He is also survived by his grandparents Leo and Grace Shadeck of Ocala, FL and Gloria Santiago of Juncos. PR. George is also survived by his in-laws Gary and Ruth Manuele and Jan Sherrill of Killeen, sisters in-law Shanna (Aaron) Frisch, Mandy (Charles) Hass both of Killeen, and Jessica Manuele of St. Petersburg, FL, as well as a brother in law Michael Creech of Killeen. He leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 24th at the First Assembly of God Harker Heights at 10 AM.
