

Harold Wayne Hale, 79 of Killeen, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. He was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on November 25, 1936.
MSG (Ret.) Harold Hale serviced 22 years in the United State Army which included 3 tours in Vietnam.
Harold married Lioba Sellers on October 8, 1979 and Proudly took on the responsibility of becoming a parent to her 6 children.
Harold loved the Lord and loved to worship at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Killeen. He is at peace with the Lord now. He was a kind, soft-spoken man that loved everyone he met.
He had an award winning smile that everyone will remember.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents William and Katy Hale, his daughter Rosie Russell and his Aunt Ruby Pound.
His love and many cherished memories will be remembered by his wife Lioba Hale.
Harold will also be missed by a brother Gene Hale (Janis) of Aransas Pass, TX, a cousin CW Pound (Gloria), five children; Heidi Burdge, Theresia Sellers, France Maltos, William Sellers Jr. and Daniel Sellers, 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Guests may call upon the Hale family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. Funeral services will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Killeen on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Burial for MSG (Ret.) Hale will follow the funeral services in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with full military at 1:00 PM.
