Joe Robert Castro

Joe R. Castro, 64, of Killeen passed into the arms of Jesus on March 5 in Temple. Visitation for Mr. Castro will be held March 7 from 6-8 pm Monday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Killeen. Services will be held March 8 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Adam Martinez officiating. Interment will be at Killeen Memorial Park following the service.

Joe, a resident of Killeen for 57 years, was born in Taylor, Texas on January 20, 1947, was self-employed, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Toby H. and Macaria S. Castro.

Survivors include his wife, Elida G. Castro; son Joe E. Castro, wife Misty, and children Lauren (husband Keith) Acree, Taylor, Victoria, and Alexandria, son Benjamin R. Castro, wife Tandra, and children Ty Toby, and Lilliana. He is also survived by a sister, Beatrice Castro Esposito (husband Ronald), niece Stephanie (husband Juan) Obregon and many nieces, nephews, and friends. You will always be in our hearts and we will love you forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joe’s name to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
