Kenny Paul Bates

March 3, 1948 - April 14, 2016

Celebration of Life for Kenny Paul Bates will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen from 6:00pm-8:00pm, a private burial for the family will be held at a later date. Kenny was born in Belton, Texas to James Adron & Edith Elizabeth (Fogle) Bates on March 3, 1948. He graduated from Killeen High School in 1966; Kenny was the Founder of Bates Nissan, he formed a partnership with his brothers; Robert and Jimmy Bates and later opened for business here in Killeen.

Kenny enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating as well as spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; James & Edith Bates, brother; Robert Earl Bates.

Kenny leaves loving memories to be cherished to his son Paul David Bates and his wife Michelle Bates of Killeen, TX., daughter Paula Danay Aldrich and her husband Douglas Aldrich of Killeen, TX., grandchildren; Justin McDowell, Payton Aldrich and Brynn Bates and one brother; Jimmy Burl Bates.
