My dear sister, best friend, prayer partner, it's taken me five months to write about our beautiful friendship. I will always miss and love you. You will never be forgotten, Thank you so much for being in my life for the short time you were on this earth. I will never forget us getting ordained by Prophet Timmons healing and deliverance ministry in Oklahoma November 2006. The celebration at my house was so wonderful. I will also miss February 2007, the day we went on a Norwegian cruise for one week to Progresso, Cozumel in Mexico, and Belize in Central America. We sponsored sixteen families and sent them bibles and all kinds of information about Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. What a wonderful vacation! I will remember most of all is the late night and early morning intercessory prayer for our children (Rodney, Arnetta, and Khamonte, Imani) the grand sugars and our families back home on the east coast. In May of 2012, our Lord gave me a dream to help me to deal with your untimely death.
I was riding a bike uphill to get to you at a movie theater. Upon arrival, I saw a large lazy-boy chair with Linda's purse in it, in front of the theater. I leaned my bike against the chair, and placed my purse in the chair next to hers. Linda came out with her grand baby, and she asked me, "Will you always be riding your bike like that?" I said, "Yes always." The grand baby then left Linda and walked away from her. Linda then said that she had to go; I agreed with her and went to get my purse from the large lazy boy chair. I then stated, "Linda you forgot your purse!" Then Linda said to me, "where I'm gong I will not need my purse." Then we both parted ways until Linda vanished.
I thank God for that dream because I know that Linda is with our Lord and Savior. (2nd Corinthians 5:8 we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the lord.) You will be deeply missed from our ministry and my heart and I know that without a shadow of doubt, I will see you again in Jesus name, Amen!

To My Sister Linda, you were a joy to my life while you were here, Im so HAPPY that I got to spend your last weeks there with you.God knew you had suffered enough so he called you home to be with him. Now you are one of his Angels with all of your wings watching & protecting all of us. It's one thing that I always want you to know is I WILL ALWAYS & 4EVER HOLD YOU CLOSE TO MY HEART FOR YOU WERE ALWAYS THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS. I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.

To the Family of Deaconess Linda Worthan: Heart felt condolences to you on the home going of our Dearest Sister In Christ Jesus, your Wife, Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Neice,Cousin, and Friend. My memorable moments of Deaconess Warthan was when we would go downtown Austin for Street Minisrty. Sometimes starting at the Homless Kitchen and working our way to the busy different bus stop areas along the way. Passing out tracks, encouragement cards, and praying for whom ever desired prayer. Deaconess Warthan was shy but the Spirit Of God would speak "boldly" through her. One Saturday morning we were on 12th Street and Chicon. For those that are not familiar with Austin, this area is known for homeless hanging out, selling drugs, and prostitution. While ministering as The Holy Spirit would lead, we meant a man that "politely" told us to go away from him because we  interrupted him from his business, (selling "weed"). Deaconess Warthan could not hear what he said so she asked us and we told her. She said, (with authority) "the devil is a liar! RIGHT NOW IN THE NAME OF JESUS WE COMMAND FOR WHAT HE HAS IN HIS POCKETS TO DRY UP AND HE WILL NOT MAKE A SELL THIS DAY IN JESUS NAME. LORD WE DECREE HIS SOUL TO YOU IN JESUS NAME." As we walked away the man said nothing just surprized of her boldness. We also have those joyfull times while on the Nursing Home Minister in which she was over. When I found out in 2010, that my mother was diagnoised with cancer and I shared it with her, she began to encourage me and told me what sciptures to pray over my mother, even though she was facing the same thing at the same time, she put herself to the side and thought of someone else. I bless the Lord for her and I appeciated the 18 plus years that we have known each other. May the peace of God which surpass ALL understanding keep your hearts and minds thru Christ Jesus. She is already greatly missed here on earth but welcomed in her New Heavenly Home. I love you Sis,

Linda, I think of  you daily.  You fought a long, hard and battle.  I want to be selfish and have you with me here.  You were my support group as we fought the battle together the summer of 2011.  I loved making you laugh.  I read my last text message from you daily.  I remember how we would go to Ross and buy for our grandchildren.  The love you expressed for your son and daughter and your two grandchildren.  The lunches we shared, the work we discussed and the cancer fight we joked about.  I love you Linda, you are a beautiful person.  I miss you.

As we mourn the untimely death of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and my dear cousin I can't help but rejoice when I think of where she is. You see she's in Heaven with her Lord Jesus Christ.  If we could contact her and ask her to please come back to us, I believe she would say I love you all, but no way. Because you see there's peace and joy over here, and I will never suffer pain again.  So Linda, farewell for now and I will see you again.
