Funeral services for Logan Huff will be 2pm Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen with Rev. Jimmy Towers officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Killeen City Cemetery.
Logan Huff was born September 4, 1936 in Temple to Owen Stracener and Margaret Myrick and was reared in Temple by his maternal grandparents Henry and Nora Huff. Logan departed this earth on March 26, 2013 and joined his wife Carolyn Jean Huff in Heaven where she had been waiting for him since June 3, 2000.
Left with lives full of wonderful memories are Logan’s two children Patricia (Pat) Hoxworth and husband Bobby of Harker Heights and Stephen Huff and wife Tracie of Lavaca, Arkansas. Logan is also survived by a brother David Huff of Killeen and three sisters Harriette Jones of Belton, June Knight of Temple and Peggy Johnson of Mansfield.
Logan attended Temple High School and Bethany High School and after graduation served his Country in the United States Air Force until his Honorable Discharge in 1963. Logan married the love of his life Carolyn Jean Huff on July 5, 1968 and they made their home in Killeen where Logan enjoyed a long and successful career in accounting.
Logan was a member of LifeWay Fellowship in Killeen. He loved the simple things of life and enjoyed being outdoors with all that God created. It was fitting that he would slip off into eternity while sitting around a fire enjoying a quiet evening with friends. His absence brings us great sorrow, yet we are so much richer for having had him in our lives.
A time of visitation will be from 6-8 PM today at the funeral home.
