Loyd Wilburn King

Loyd and his family moved to the Sparta Community when he was younger. He continued to live in the Bell County area until his death.

In the early 1960’s Loyd and Boyd began King Brothers Concrete. Mr. King continued building and pouring concrete until his retirement in1998.

He enjoyed hunting, gardening, fishing and hard work. Loyd loved to work on old cars and tractors. Pa found the most pride in raising his children and providing for his family. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Loyd was preceded in death by both his parents, James M. King and Edna Josephine Fowler King. His twin brother, Boyd M. King and 2 other brothers, James M. King and Howard L. Billingsley Loyd is also preceded in death by one sister, Emma Snow.

He is survived by his 4 sons; Dickie R. King and wife Karen, David L. King and wife Michelle, Gary L. King and wife Mary and Christopher D. King and wife Laura and his only daughter, Alisa King.

He is also survived by his 2 sisters; Peggy Price and Joetta Holden, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

The King family will receive guests for a time of visitation Friday, November 22, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Lifeway Fellowship Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2013 also at Lifeway Fellowship Church. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
