

Marc Reagan Weaver, 67, of Killeen, passed away July 27, 2023 at his home in Killeen. Marc was born in Dallas, Texas on September 30, 1955 to Leroy Sydney Weaver and Ella Halbert Weaver. Marc married his bride, Mary Elaine Creel on February 15, 1975.
Mr. Weaver served 20 years in the U. S. Army with basic training at one station training at Fort Sill, OK. Airborne school and his primary duty station for 4 years at Fort Bragg, NC. He spent 4 years at Bad Kissingen Germany, then 3 years at Fort Knox, KY. A year at Camp Casey, South Korea, 4 years at Fort Bragg, NC, 4 years at Baumholder, Germany with a final duty tour at Fort Hood, TX with retirement in June 1994. He spent the next 26 years serving as a mechanic in the Central Texas community, from Celo Bay, Patriot and AutoMax.
Marc absolutely loved to talk…and share his vast knowledge with others. He always had a smile for those he loved and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed his help. He had the biggest heart and could always make you laugh or smile.
Marc was preceded in death by his father, in 1966, his mother in 2016 and his wife passed away in 2014.
He is survived by his sister Penny Weaver-Sanchiz (Ray) of Dallas, TX, his children Robert Weaver (Jennifer) of Harker Heights, TX, James Weaver (Laura) of Bartlett, TX, Anna Maldonado (Andrew) of Houston, TX, David Weaver (Nicki) of Phoenix, AZ.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren Evelyn, Cinnamin, Kathleen, Lillian, Kylee, Tyler, Vincent, Keke, Orrin, Leylanie, Ilania, and Echo.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, August 9 in the chapel of Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Graveside services, with full military honors will be held at 2:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
