

Mark Randall Plasterer, a devoted husband, loving father, and respected multimedia leader, passed away on January 24, 2024, in Killeen, Texas, at the age of 68.
Born on April 7, 1955, in Sioux City, Iowa, Mark's life was marked by dedication and a thirst for knowledge. He dedicated 31 years to Central Texas College in Killeen, where he led the multimedia department. His academic journey included earning both bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Central Texas, now Texas A&M University Central Texas.
Before his career, Mark served honorably in the United States Army for 8 years, embodying values of duty and service.
Mark enjoyed exercising, home projects, tinkering with electronics, smoking cigars, and cruising. He cherished his family, sharing 46 years of marriage with his wife, Kun Suk Plasterer. Their son, Roger Lee Plasterer, married Nina Kim Plasterer (née Chen), and together they blessed Mark and Kun Suk with three cherished grandchildren: Avery, Austin, and Archer Plasterer.
Mark is preceded in death by his younger brother, Warren Plasterer, and his older brother, Steven Plasterer.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on January 31, 2024, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas. Following the Memorial Service will be a Committal Service with Military Honors at
1:00 PM at Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery.
Mark Randall Plasterer's memory will forever inspire us, reminding us of the importance of dedication, kindness, and lifelong learning.
