Mary Lee Barnett

On April 6, 2023, Mary Lee Barnett earned her wings to walk with the Angels. Mary was born in Temple Texas, to Esta Lee Barrington Hinds and Thomas Harvey “Jack” Minor on January 11, 1955, she was 68 years young.

Our beloved Mother, Sister and Granny is whole again in Heaven. Mary was a valiant fighter and conquered life’s twists and turmoil. She is sailing on a journey to golden shores that we can only imagine, happy and free. We know there is no pain, and she is flying peacefully with God.

Mary is survived by her son Lee and wife Shonda Barnett, her daughter Tabitha and husband Jonathan Jay; her four grandchildren, Victoria, Madison, Jacob, and Ansley Barnett; her brother Mark and wife Michelle; their sons, Sean, and Christopher Hinds along with her brother-in-law, Randolph “Butch” and nieces, Shana and Laura Carter. She leaves behind Matthew Minor, Cousin Linda and Jim Foster with sons John and Jared. Mary is predeceased by her mother, Esta Lee and her father Jack, her older brother Tom and loving sister Ann.

As much as we are sad to see Mary leave us, we have an immense amount of peace knowing she is dancing with her heavenly family and God in Heaven. Mary touched many lives showing love, honesty, gratitude, forgiveness, and kindness. She set an example we should all follow. Mary will be missed immensely and is forever in our hearts.

Services will be held at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, TX on April 14, 2023, at 12:00 PM.
