

Nancy was born on February 23, 1933, in Springfield, Massachusetts to William Pitt Ring, Jr. and Pauline Sizer Ring. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri in 1952 with an Associate in Arts Degree, where she studied fashion design.
Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church in Killeen, where she sang in the choir and influenced her church with her quilting skills. An "Army Brat" and an "Officer's Wife" who travelled the world, she loved gardening, fabric and design, travelling, and a passion for quilting, Over the years she has blessed many family members and friends with gifts of her beautiful quilts.
She is preceded in death by her parents William Pitt Ring, Jr. and Pauline Sizer Ring and her beloved husband, John.
She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Huggins (Joel Oliver) and Rebecca Lynn Evans (Colin Robert), her frequent caregiver and "third daughter" Lois Ingram, her sister Sally Anne Brantley, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Crawford-bowers in Killeen on March 31 from 6-8 pm. The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, at 1 pm at the First Baptist Church in Killeen. Burial will follow at Killeen Memorial Park.
