I remember  every family reunion. We were all so excited to see uncle Bobby & lydia& the kids cause that was only time we got to see them. Everyone meeting at aunt Lois's house & eating white castle.  All of us catching up & laughing together.  I'll always be his wild child.lol  He will be greatly missed & always loved

A good father loves his children. A good husband loves his wife. He knows they are human and make mistakes, he supports them and builds them up. All that showed throughout all of you and it showed that Robert, Sr., was a true family man; a loving father and husband!  I enjoyed going to your home and it was a special time to see Robert, Sr., when he was home around with us. I saw our dad's at work together and saw there too how they worked around their troops. I loved visiting your family in the Skyline housing area in Germany. All my siblings were older than I and didn't make the last trip over. I found a family that replaced those while over there with you guys and saw the love you all shared with each other. I always thought it was very interesting how Dad and your dad were close at work and the son's at home were very close buds too! Robert, Sr., will be missed, but the memories will keep him alive forever! Our sincere sympathies and prayers for support to the family! 

I have so many beautiful memories of you my big brother/cuzz. It's hard to pick but. I remember you coming home on leave and always come to our house and we were ALWAYS so excited to see you in your uniform looking all dapper and handsome. When you were hungry we all knew it was time for your favorite white  Castle. We would always have a house full because everyone always gathered at momma & daddy's since they helped raise you. Growing up was so much fun when ever you were around. Our family reunions at Garfield park was always huge.  You are gone from our sight now but you will forever live in our hearts and minds. We will treasure every memory of you as gold. Go rest high on that mountain my sweet brother/cuzz. Until we meet again 💕

Oh the precious memories where do I begin? Your the best uncle a girl could have ask for ! Your example of love & giving was such a blessing! You loved your family with all that was within you! As I have many memories my special memory was when you came to Gary’s & I wedding 👰! I have you in our wedding album! Was so special having you there , ! And my last memory was this past July I had the honor of spending 2 weeks with you in our home ! The family reunion was the best we had in a long time ! I had no idea this would be the last time I would ever see you ! But I will forever be great full for that.family is everything & thank you Uncle Bobby for showing such a great example of unconditional love ❤️! You left us all a wonderful legacy ❤️😘

Bobby (Brat) is what I called you. God I'm going to miss you alot. You were mire like my brother than my cousin. I remember when I was Five year's old. You moved in with us on Church Street.  
You Uncle Jitter Uncle Ronnie and  Floyd was all sitting on the couch. I said hey I have a loose tooth. You got some string tight it to the door knob. Then the other end to my tooth. You said close your eyes ,tgen all I heard was the door slammed shut. You said you want your tooth? Lol All four of y'all were smiling and laughing. You were so much fun.  Then a four if y'all joined the army together. Then when you called home you said you nmeet this Beautiful lady named Lydia. Then y'all got married had a great family.  Then you have always said you have a great life. You had abig heart and wonderful Smile. You were always so happy. You and Lydia was Luv Birds. Rest in peace Bobby . Luv and miss you. I felt a great connection to you because of being prior service. Though your duration was 20+ years in the Army and I served 4 as an Active Duty Marine, I felt that connection and because of that I had nothing but the upmost respect for you. We will miss you in the flesh but we know you’re at ease in a better place. See you when it’s my turn to rejoice in the afterlife! 

Papa Turner i used to call you, so many memories with you and the family as I grew up on Fort Hood with Lydia being my best friend. You welcomed me into your home so many times and you were such a positive influence in my life and i will always love you Papa Turner.  I have wonderful memories and will cherish them forever.  

My fond memory of my brother,is when he saved me from being kidnapped.I loved him for that.Going to miss him alot. Love Ruthie

You were such a great kid to take care of and definitely made a great life for yourself and your family. I can remember you sitting. & holding our 3 legged dog Sally. I loved you as my own and have nothing but beautiful memories of you. My prayers go put to his wife and family. Love you always & forever Aunt Lois 💞
