

Funeral services, with Military Honors, will take place at the graveside at 10:00 am, Friday, May 19th at the Central Texas Veterans State Cemetery. Funeral attendees are invited to a reception, after the service, to the VFW Bob Gray Post 9192, located at 301 Wolf Street in Killeen, TX.
Steve began his US Army Career in 1961 and retired after 20 years of service. During his time with the US Army, he received the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Device.
After retirement, Steve had a second career with the US Army Operational Test Command (OTC) as a Data Management Specialist and a Military Plans Analyst (Test Officer). He retired from OTC after 20 years for a total of 40 years of government service.
Steve was a member of the VFW Bob Gray Post 9192 where he served for many years as the Quartermaster. Steve will be remembered for his dedication to the US Army and his country.
Steve is survived by his wife, Soungja Baugh and his daughter, Medina Baugh Smith by his 42 yr marriage to Myra Baugh. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. Steve is also survived by his siblings, Miles Bradford and Fate Griffin, grandson Toby Smith and multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie and Ernest Baugh, his siblings, David Baugh, Wiley Baugh, June Melton (Baugh), Earl Baugh, Patrick Baugh, Janice Baugh, Mark Baugh, Martha Baugh, Phillip Baugh and his granddaughter, Lauren Smith.
Steve will be remembered for his ingenuity in building and creating structures as well as his analytical abilities and artistic talent.
