Bessie passed away on June 13, 2016 at Scott & White in Temple. She was born on April 18, 1929 in Rockdale, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Tijerina; sons, Danny Tijerina and Charlie Tijerina.
She is survived by sole surviving son, Albert Tijerina; brother, Sam Maciel; sister, Dolores Hernandez; grandsons; great-grandchildren; and extended family.
She enjoyed a long, happy life with her family and loved spending time with them all. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
