Mrs. McDaniel passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011 at a nursing home in Harker Heights.
Vider Lee was born April 25, 1922 in North Zulch, Texas to James C. and Jenny Lee (Reynolds) Richards. She married Edmond T. McDaniel on May 31, 1941 in Georgetown and has lived in the Killeen area since 1946. She was a dedicated wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, J. C. Richards, James Lester, Seth Richards and Earl B. Richards and by sisters, Mary Glover, Josephine D’Andre, and Corene Mixon and by her husband of 69 years on September 25, 2010.
Mrs. Mc Daniel is survived by her son, Edmond Larry McDaniel, Sr. and his wife, Cathy Ann, and a daughter, Cathy Lynn Canova and her husband, Michael, all of Killeen; ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
