Wilfredo “Freddie” Hernandez, age 56, of Temple, passed away Thursday, April 11, at Scott and White Hospital. A visitation for Mr. Hernandez is scheduled for Friday, April 13, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the Rosary at 7:00 pm at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. A graveside service for Wilfredo is set for Saturday, April 14, at 12:00 pm at Killeen City Cemetery.
Wilfredo was born in Puerto Rico, December 5, 1955 to Ernesto and Monserrate Hernandez. He received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and then went on to obtain a Master’s degree in psychology. In 2002 he joined forces with Clark Travel. He loved the bus business, he loved his life, had a great sense of humor, and found joy in everything he did.
Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his father, Ernesto Hernandez.
Survivors include his wife, Dedra; a step-son, Colby Quarles; his mother, Monserrate Hernandez; a brother, Ernesto Hernandez, Jr.; two sisters, Lucy Pedraza and Wanda Hernandez; two nieces, Edith Hernandez and Jessica Bonilla (husband Nelson); a grand-niece, Jessinia Bonilla, and a grand-nephew, Aejandro Bonilla.
