She was born to Hilary and Odar on October 3, 1948. After graduating from high school, Audrey traveled selling magazines cross country until she met Hans Fredricksen on a blind date in Abilene, Texas. Together, they had 3 daughters.
Audrey loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. She created a welcoming atmosphere in her home and made room for anyone who needed a good meal or a dry roof or a caring shoulder. She was a dedicated public servant, retiring from a position as an office manager for the USDA in 2012.
She is survived by her three daughters, Sarah, Katherine, and Inger and their dedicated husbands and partners, Timothy, David, and Francisco. She leaves behind several grandchildren for whom she lived and yearned to watch grow into adults, Adrianna, Adriane, Nikkolas, and Leonel, James, and the youngest, Alexandra.
She is the baby of 8 siblings, leaving behind her sisters Altha and Nona, her big brother Charlie, her sisters-in-law Bonnie and Jean and brother-in-law Paul. She will also leave a huge hole in the hearts of her closest niece and nephew, Joyce and James, and their spouses and children.
She has gone to be reunited with her loving husband Hans who left us in 2013 and to be the grandma she wanted to be to Ivan who was lost in 2019.
She is dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
