About

When we at Kingwood Funeral Home say you’re our priority, we mean it. Our commitment is not only to treat your family like our own, but also to treat your family like you’re the only one who needs us. This approach allows us to give you our undivided attention and provide an unmatched level of care.

When you hold a service here, your family has the entire funeral home to yourselves. The chapel, stateroom and reception area are reserved exclusively for your gathering. This allows you to honor your loved one in privacy, surround yourself with the people who matter most, and begin the healing process in a place that feels both intimate and supportive.

We invite you to visit us and see how we’re different. We’d love to get to know you.

Time-honored traditions and modern celebrations

Kingwood Funeral HomeLocated in Northeast Houston, at the entrance to the Kingwood community, on a large wooded lot, Kingwood Funeral Home has served The Livable Forest—including Kingwood, Porter, New Caney, Humble and Atascocita—since 1995. Before you even walk into the funeral home, you feel welcome here. The setting is private, parking is plentiful and the landscaping is meticulously manicured.

Our Colonial ranch-style building reflects the residences of Kingwood. Red brick on the outside, light and airy on the inside, it looks and feels like an upscale hotel or your fashionable friend’s personal space. The large, all-faith chapel has a gorgeous stained-glass window and room for more than 200 guests. We can set it up with chairs in rows for a traditional religious ceremony or with round tables for a celebration of life. A state-of-the-art AV system allows us to play personalized playlists and tribute movies. Our baby grand piano—and a pianist—is available to your family for no extra charge.

A caring, heart-led team

Arrangement room at Kingwood Funeral HomeWe’re your friends and neighbors—the people you see at the grocery store and the bank—and we care about you. Leading with our hearts, we’re here to guide you, from writing an obituary to choosing flowers and music, arranging transportation and more. No request is too small or too large for our exceptional team, who always has your comfort top of mind.

Because we believe a memorial service should deeply reflect the life of the person being honored, we do everything we can to create meaningful, personalized tributes. Want a cremation followed by a dove release? You got it. A funeral in our chapel and then great Houston barbecue? You can have that, too. Monogrammed seed packets or hand-inscribed books as mementos? Yes. The list is truly endless. We take the time to visit with you and your family to plan a celebration like no other.

Continuing care beyond the service

Celebration of life venue for services, gatherings and receptions at Kingwood Funeral HomeAt Kingwood Funeral Home, we know grief doesn’t end when a service concludes. That’s why our care continues long after the day of the funeral. We offer grief counseling resources, a grief library and supportive materials sent to you each quarter during the first year after a loss. Many families tell us this ongoing support has been invaluable.

Throughout the year, we also host special events that bring our community together in remembrance.

On Mother’s Day, A Mother’s Love honors all mothers, including those who are no longer with us and those mothers who have lost children. Each December, we welcome families to an annual remembrance service, open to all in the community. Together, we honor every life lost—parents, children, siblings, friends, even beloved pets—through a moving video tribute created with photos shared by attendees. Before the service, families can connect over refreshments, and each guest receives a commemorative ornament as a keepsake.

These moments of reflection and fellowship are part of our promise: to walk beside you not only on the day of the service, but in the days, months and years that follow.
