Born September 28, 1931 in Norphlet, Arkansas to James Ray Johnson and Pat LeMoine.
Went home to be with the Lord on March 19, 2017 in Kingwood, Texas.
Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Everett Johnson. Survived by Wanda Johnson, his wife of almost 50 years, brother Gordon Johnson, children Cecil Johnson, Robert Johnson (Pamela) and Lisa Tatom. Grandchildren Eric Johnson, Michael Johnson (Larissa), Patrick Johnson, Zachary Tatom, Hayley Tatom, Nicholas Tatom, Chelli Birdsley (Michael), Kimberly Presnull (Jack) and Sheri Gillis (Jason) and 6 great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be at Kingwood First Baptist Church on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 11:00am.
The family will have internment in Nacogdoches, Texas at Old North Church on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
