Rufus Frank Clark was born in Houston, Texas to Rufus Andrew Clark and Evelyn Ruth (Pye) Clark on October 2, 1944 and has gone to be with the Lord on the morning of June 10, 2022.
Frank married the pretty girl next door and the one great love of his life in May of 1963. Together they grew, loved, and conquered the world. They have owned and operated several successful businesses together. They had four children together and countless lifelong friendships.
Frank was always the go-to man if you needed help fixing, finding, or building anything, or making something work. He took great pride in helping others, always giving great guidance or helping others up.
He believed in second chances and always working hard for his family. He was a man of great character, courage, honor, and integrity. He was a man of love and compassion for others, especially for his family. He was one of a kind. He has touched the lives of so many. He is and will always be the very center piece to our family. He took the time to teach all of his children to be who they say they are; and to always be willing to help someone else along the way. The only thing he enjoyed more than being a husband, daddy, or friend, was being “Pappaw.” The world will not be the same without him, but he will live in our hearts forever, until we meet again.
Frank is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Ann (Flukinger) Clark; children, Judy Ann Clark of Conroe, Symantha Clark Thompson and husband Troy of Magnolia, Richard Clark of Houston, and Darlene Clark Garrett and husband Mike of Conroe; grandchildren, Jennifer Hill, Jacob Morrow, Allen Urban, Heather Amrine, Casey Garrett, Jessy Egan, Tyler Clark, Taylor Clark, Kelsey Clark, and Kendal Clark; nine and half great grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Clark; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Evelyn (Pye) Clark; brothers, Jack Clark and Paul Clark; sister, Jane Clark Glass; grandson, Seth Clark; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ernest B. (Sonny) and Sue Flukinger; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Flukinger and Ernest Flukinger.
