Janice was born on October 17, 1930 near Dothan Alabama. She experienced humble beginnings while growing up on a farm with five siblings where her father was a share-cropper. Her parents were Wyatt and Audrey Bond, better known as Big Daddy and Big Momma. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years Raymond Carroll Lohman and siblings, Betty Davidson, Jacque Motts, Jim Bond, Sara Hulet and Kenneth Bond. She leaves behind her son Larry Lohman and wife Carolyn Lohman, Jeffrey Lohman and wife Kay Lohman, and daughter Kayleen Townsend and husband Kiah Townsend. Her grandchildren are Jennifer, Lara, Andrew, Courtney, Matthew, Luke and Bella. Great grand children are Benjamin, Ethan, Avery, Annabelle, Clara and Lina.
Janice’s priority was always very clear to the everyone, God is number one. She was also all about family. She would do anything to get us to stay longer or come more often. She would light up the room when her grand children and great grandbabies came to see her.
The Family moved to Kingwood in 1972 and she became a successful realtor starting in 1979. She didn't look at being a realtor as a job but instead, as an opportunity to meet and develop friendships with countless number of people in the Kingwood area. It seemed everywhere she went people knew and loved her. Janice loved helping and serving people, whether selling them a house or visiting them in the hospital. She always looked to bring joy to those she met. She always dressed to the nines and had a smile on her face because she loved Jesus and she knew Jesus loved her.
Janice will be greatly missed.
