Joe was a hard-working, self-made man. In addition to an early career in underwater welding, at one point he built a business around remote-sensing robots used to clean and inspect cooling systems for nuclear power plants. Joe ended his career as an inspection coordinator for sub-sea wellhead devices in the Gulf of Mexico. Joe also had a passion for mechanical works of all kinds, including rebuilding his mother Sara's 1985 Volvo into an incredibly fast, Mustang-powered street machine. He was an avid water skier (including barefoot), dog-lover, and incredibly devoted to family. Joe traveled extensively for work, including many extensive visits to Southeast Asia.
Joe was preceded in death by his father Joseph G. Bagley Jr., uncle Phil Bagley, and father-in-law "Papa" Wayne Brown. He is survived by his son, Matthew Bagley, his wife Kay Bagley, his mother Sara L. Brown, siblings Cathy Robertson, Susan Ross, Donald L. Brown and Kelly Brown along with aunt Sally Bagley and aunt Margaret Wagner.
He will always be missed and loved.
