

Judy was born on April 5, 1945. She lived a life centered on family, faith, and the relationships she cherished most. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose steady presence and care shaped generations of her family. Her family was her most important legacy. Judy had a gift for making people feel welcomed and loved, and she took great pride in creating a home where family gathered and memories were made.
She is survived by her loving husband, Marvin “Buddy” Sexton; her children, Mike Sexton and wife Tammy, Andy Sexton and wife Sandi, Mary George and Husband David, and Marvin “Buddy” Sexton III and wife Alison; and her brother, James B. Davis (“Jim”). She was a proud grandmother to Rebecca Hartman and Husband Taylor, Sarah Carter, Drew Sexton and wife Cassidy, Ryan Sexton and wife Madeline, Catie Mary Sexton, Ty Sexton, Maggie Sexton, Kate Sexton, Blaire Sexton, Lucy Sexton, Amber Watson and Husband Matthew, Brent Jones and Wife Kyah, Brett Jones and Ashley Jones; and a cherished great-grandmother to Aiden, Emme, Lucas, Travis, Charlee, Clay, James, Louden, Annaleigh, Liam, William, Emmaleigh, Savannah and Leddy.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Craig Davis and Charles Edward Davis Sr.; and her brother, Charles Edward Davis Jr. (“Eddie”).
She is also remembered as the daughter of a family rooted in strong values, with grandparents Ruby Houchins Craig, Dennis S. Craig, Caleb Davis, and Maggie Davis, whose legacy lives on through her family.
