August 20, 2016. She was born in White County Tennessee where her father was a farmer and her mom a homemaker and was the youngest of 7 siblings. She lived a normal farm girl’s life where her mother handmade her dresses for school from flour sacks and her brothers would hang her down into the well to cool her off. Lucy was a basketball guard for her high school team the Spartans. She graduated White County High School in 1954 and never missed a day of school. Lucy moved to Texas where she met and married George Weber, Jr. and had three children. She was a hard worker and good provider who loved her family and was willing to help with anything her family needed. She retired from the Metropolitan Transit Authority as an accountant after 25 years of service and was a member of the Church of Christ in Bellaire. She loved good food, reading and seeing her grandchildren. We all love her and will miss her.
