

Marcus Aaron Gressett was born on October 14, 1971 in Houston, Texas. He passed away suddenly on, October 5, 2011 in Kingwood, Texas. Marc was the beloved son of Don and Carol Gressett , the loving brother of Jennifer Gressett, and the special uncle of Colin Gressett. He is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as a host of friends, including Robyn Geske, and finally by his most important companion, his dog Buddy.
Marc was a life-long resident of Kingwood, where he graduated from Kingwood High School in 1990. He attended Baylor University and was employed at the time of his death in his family’s business, Carol’s Lighting in Humble, Texas.
Marc was an avid outdoors man, whose hunting and fishing hobbies were life-long. He took great joy in sharing stories with friends and family about his exploits in these areas, and was really very good at both. Marc loved sports and was an ardent fan of the Dallas Cowboys, holding dear his autographed memorabilia from the Tom Landry days.
Marc was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Evelyn Roebuck and Pete and Margaret Gressett, all of Waxahachie, Texas.
Marc’s life was celebrated on Monday morning, October 10th, at Kingwood Funeral Home in Kingwood, Texas, with Dr. Jerry House officiating. Burial was in Calvary Hill Cemetery in Houston.
Due to Marc’s strong love of animals, the family requests that memorials be made in Marc’s name to the Houston SPCA.
