

Marjorie K. Corn passed away peacefully July 13, 2012 in Kingwood, TX. She was a lifelong native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast until her retirement from Chevron USA’s Pascagoula Refinery in 1989 when she moved with her husband Cecil Corn to Granbury, Texas.
Born August 10, 1933 in Kilmichael, MS, she graduated from Meridian High School and later studied business at Meridian Jr. College. In 1963 she began a very dedicated career with Chevron at their Pascagoula Refinery. Co-workers, friends and family remember Marj as loving, kind, loyal, professional and fun. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Corn, sister Gail Bosarge, and her beloved grandson, Nick Linton. She is survived by her son, Stan Easterwood and his wife Debby, of Littleton, CO, daughter Kathy Linton and her husband Tom of Kingwood, TX; grandchildren Mathew Easterwood, Lee Ann Easterwood and Sean Linton; sisters, Hazel Stubbs, Louise Hansen, and brother Lynnwood King of Vancleave; extended family, Robin Hosey, Tracie Easterwood, Stephanie Cazalas, and Mike Clatworthy; step-daughters Linda Edwards, Decatur, AL and Debbie Miranda, Grapevine, TX, step-grandaughter Rachel McMahon and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held at Strawbridge United Methodist Church in Kingwood, TX on July 16, 2012.
A Memorial Service is scheduled at First Baptist Church in Vancleave, MS, on August 18 at 3:30 PM.
