Melvin L. Bernard born April 12, 1937 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and passed away August 19, 2011 in Kingwood, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Bernard; sons, Todd Michael Bernard and his wife, Carol, Jon David Bernard and his wife, Sheri and Robert Joseph Bernard; grandchildren, Mackayla Bernard and Cody Bernard; mother, Virginia Audette Bernard; sisters, Judy Bernard Walsh and Sandy Bernard Fear and brother, Denny Bernard. Preceded in death by his father, Charles Melvin Bernard. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Parkway, Porter, Texas 77365.
