Richard Montgomery Hunt

Richard Montgomery Hunt, 52, of Cleveland, TX, passed away June 5, 2015, in Houston, TX. Richard was born to parents, June Sandel Hunt and Elliot Lyndon Hunt on January 1, 1963 in Houston, TX. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 9th at 10:00 a.m. at Kingwood Funeral Home in Kingwood, TX, with Pastor Bruce Hollen officiating. Richard's final resting place will be at High Prairie Cemetery in Madisonville, TX, amongst a host of family.

Richard was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved playing dominos and spending time with family and friends. He cherished his four children and two granddaughters more than life itself.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Elliot Lyndon Hunt, his brother, Lyndon Dane Hunt, his grandparents, Richard Elmo and Martha Lee Hunt, Harvey Langford Sandel, Maude Sandel Crowson and Norma Erman (Papa) Crowson. He is survived by his four children, Candice Hunt Finney and husband Bernard, Sean Hunt, Rhae-Lynn (Rhae Rhae) Hunt and Landon Hunt; his granddaughters, Kara Finney and Alyssa Finney; his mother, June Hunt; his brother, Joey Hunt and wife Joanie; numerous nieces and nephews, Logan Lord (whom he helped raise) as well as countless relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are: Joey Hunt, Sean Hunt, Bernard Finney, Trevor Jordan and best friends, Roy Wayne Durrett and Dennis Beagles.
