Mary Catherine, Robert, Michael and Family,
My deepest sympathy to each of you in your time of need.  I am thinkng and praying for you and your beloved Bob. Bob was so very generous to my Aunt, cousin and myself when we were in Louisana.
Bob drove us any place we wanted to visit and had so much fun in the evening.  He was a very generous person and will be missed by all.

Dear Mary Catherine,  Upon my return from a reunion of my family on Catawba Island at Port Clinton, Ohio this past week end I noticed a very familiar name on the obituary page of the Sunday edition of the Wheeling News Register--Robert Ross, my Supt. of Metallurgy and Quality Control at the Benwood Plant of Wheeling--Pittsburgh Steel.  My deepest sympathy to you and your family on Bob's passing.  My prayers are with you.  I will also pray for the repose of Bob's soul.  I still remember the trip we made to New York City, you and Bob with me and Isabel.  Isabel passed away on June 1, 2008 at the age of 88.     Sincerely,  Lou Jagucki

Mary Catherine, Robert, Michael, Elvia, Katy and Alex,... My sincere condolences on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. My brother was quite a man and I recall so many good times. One time he came to Cincinnati and took me to a very nice dinner at a posh restuarant. He had raw oysters but I could not - I did not have his class and could only thank him for taking a poor college kid to the best place in town to eat. There are so many other things but I'll just mention one time that our mom was crying and he wrapped her in a big hug from behind her while she was ironing and he made her feel better... that is a wonderful memory and it is just one example of this very nice man and my wonderful brother. Dear Aunt Mary Catherine,
I have many wonderful memories that include you, Uncle Bob, Bobby and Michael...the many times the families were together at Grandpa & Grandma Ross’ or the visit in West Virginia.  I think of the time Uncle Bob did his best to teach me how to play tennis at the East Palestine Park and I am reminded of his kindness, patience and sense of humor.  Know that Glenda and I send our thoughts and prayers.  We are thinking of you Bobby and Michael.

Dear Mary Catherine,
  I saw in this Sundays News Register where Bob had passed away. I have not seen you two for many years. I wanted you to know that Donna and I  Wish to express to you our deepest Condolences on your loss. 
  I remember the nights on 47TH street when Bob would make pizza and bring it down to the house and feed the neighborhood as we would discuss everything under the sun. I recall Bobby running up and down the street singing a song that he dearly loved. For the love of me I cannot recall the name of it. I think it was a show song. Michael was a bit younger but he too was out playing with his brother. Those were the days. Bob was a good neighbor and friend. I have thought of you two often. I hated to see you move to Texas but it turned out to be the best thing for you and the family because Wheeling Steel as you probably know does not exist any longer.
 Donna and I are still doing O.K. She had cancer and beat that but now has dementia. We live on Bellview Heights now where we built about 35 YRS ago. Karen & Tom are both married. Tom has a daughter. Our one and only grand child. 
   Most all of those in the old neighberhood have passed away or moved. Donna is 77 now and I am79. Where did those years go to.
  I know you will be lost without Bob. We pray that the Lord God will give you strenght to carry on. That is what Bob would want for you. I would be surprised if the boys would remember us but please tell them we are so sorry at the loss of their Father.
  Mary Catherine this note might be a bit long considering the situation but I wanted you to know that we still are here and our prayers are with you and the family.
