Frieda was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Bill Cole, on September 10, 1992.
Loving mother of Margaret Ann (Bruce), Janis (Ron), Don (Wendy), Mary (Cliff) and Christine (Todd). Frieda was a special grandmother to 12 grandchildren, Kelly, Keri, Amy, Geoff, Scott, Mike, Mark, Katie, Heather, Ryan, Jeremy and Kyle, and a great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren Jocelyn, Josh, Cole, Emily, Tyler, Kyla, Kaylyn, Ian, Jillian, Chase, Evelyn, William, James, Ivy and Theo. She was a loving sister to Eileen (Vic).Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Caroline (Meyer), her son-in-law Bruce Dietrich and her sisters and brothers - Rose (Chris), Loretta (Jim), Bert (Ida), Joe (Daisy), Len (Madeline), Clara (Ralph), Edna (Al), Bernice (Cyril), Esther (Joe) and Sister Louisita. Frieda was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Waterloo and was a member of the CWL for over 75 years. Frieda’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo, on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frieda would be appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
