Passed away peacefully on March 9, 2022 in palliative care at Freeport Hospital in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Manuel (2001).
Dearest mother to Filomena (Luis) Tavares, Ana (Chris) Kilgour, and Michael (Belinda). Beloved Vovo to Rick (Jen), Robert (Wendy), Hollee, Emma, Amy, Robert (Brandy), and Samantha (Scott). Great Grandmother to Alyssa, Katelyn, Kylie, Hailey, Brianna, Austin, Cameron, Cora, Ember, Wyatt, Maddison and Logan.
Predeceased by her brother Jose Tavares, sisters Maria Pacheco and Ines Lima, brother-in-law Jose Melo and nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Maria Tavares, Cidalia Melo and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
