After a long, hard-fought battle with Alzheimer's/Dementia, Al passed away at home with his wife's arms around him on the morning of November 12, 2025.
Beloved husband of Lorraine (Riopelle). Dear Father of Staci Marck (Matt) of Owen Sound, stepfather to Jessica Paige (Allen)and Chris (Egerdee).
He was dearly loved by his grandchildren, Hali Marck, Kaitlin Marck, Lindsey Marck, and his step-grandchildren, Kerstin and Ryan.
Dear brother to Sharon Maraldo (late Richard), Karen McCoy (Bob), Don McMillan, and Ron McMillan.
He was predeceased by his son, Alvin McMillan; his mother, Helen Brainard; and his stepfather, Roy Brainard; his brother, Bill McMillan; and his stepbrother, Brad Brainard.
He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener on Monday, November 17th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
