Predeceased by her husband Manual Simas (1988).
Loving mother to Maria de Melo (Manuel), and the late Joe Simas (Linda).
Proud grandmother to Mike de Melo, Diana de Sousa (Rick), Shawn Simas (Chie) and Tim Simas (Mandee); great grandmother to Nevaeh – her pride and joy.
Amelia will also be missed by many other friends and relatives.
Visitation will take place at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener) on Thursday, August 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary prayers at 8:00 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church (148 Madison Ave. S., Kitchener) on Friday, August 7 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
