Tony was my first Sgt when I first came on the job. I remember him to be first a caring person who looked after his platoon. He was kind, funny and a great mentor for young officers. We were all lucky to have crossed paths with him. Condolences to the family.

Tony (Sarge) was a great leader.  He never shied away from telling it like it was and always looked out for the front line members.  He was one of my first Sergeants, and I learned much from him.  

My condolences to his family, but know that he touched many lives around him and his spirit will live on.

I also hunted with Tony for a number of years, until he moved away from Ottawa. It was a pleasure to o consider a true friend.

My sincere condolences to you all.  My heart is beating with a melancholy rhythm on this date. I am just now hearing of your loss.  Tony was one of a kind. I met Tony first when I was a young officer with the Gloucester  Police Force. Tony always looked to me as an equal and treated me with the utmost of respect and professionalism. After we amalgamated to become the Ottawa Carleton Regional PS I daresay our relationship turned into a friendship. Tony and I kept in touch for a short while after he retired and started working for MD Charlton. I, being the Sgt in-charge of the Range and FA's for the police service, was able to conduct business long after Tony retired from the OPS. 
I am saddened by your loss. Please find comfort in knowing how much Tony impacted many of us, and that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.     Yours truly Rick Keindel

So sorry for your loss. Tony was my first sergeant at the Ottawa Police and saw me through some tough times in my early days. I was one of the first 5 Black women hired by the OPS and as much as i was welcomed by many i also faced some challenges related to entering an environment where someone like me had never been before. Tony stood by me and supported me openly often highlighting to doubters what he thought of me as a police professional. Because of how well he was respected and because he led the charge in normalizing my presence in the environment, i made and have maintained lasting relationships with people that might never have noticed me. On the day he retired a convoy of police women (i was one of them) gave him a police escort to work, he rode his motorcycle, we were proud to escort him and I will never forget Tony Seguin - MHDSRIP.

I wanted to express my sincerest condolences to Tony's family.  He was my first supervisor at OPS.  He always had a smile and made time to meet with me.   He had my back and for that, I did my best for him in return.  He will be dearly missed.

Tony was my Sgt on "A" platoon those gorgeous eyes and beautiful and caring person.  Loved him very much such sad news. Condolences to his wife and children.

Tony and I worked together on old A platoon OPF and through all the name changes later on to again Ottawa Police.  A Stand UP Guy,

Tony was my first Sgt, when I joined Ottawa Police almost 30 years ago, on A Platoon Central Division.  He was truly the heart of our Platoon - Tony cared for all of us no matter our years of service.  We were a tight knit family and respected him immensely.  I will always remember his infectious and mischievous giggle and wide smile especially at the NCO desk - where we were all prey to his ribbing and antics.

I extend my deepest condolences on the passing of my fellow police brother, Tony. I had the privilege of working with him in the late seventies, and he was truly a great guy. Though his given name was Antonio, we all knew him simply as Tony.

Tony was always willing to share his advice and knowledge, helping us navigate the challenges we faced in our daily encounters. Though he was two years younger than me, he carried a wisdom that made him seem beyond his years.

I will always remember him as tall, slim, and full of life—his smile and stories were a constant presence. May he now stand as one of God's heavenly gate guards, ensuring that we all find our way when the time comes.

Rest in peace, Tony.

Sgt.Seguin was one of my sergeants on A Platoon when I first joined OPS. Tony always had a smile on his face, and he always had time for us rookies. He was a good man.
