Barbara was the true heart of her family, known for her gentle spirit, warmth, and unconditional love. Her greatest joy in life was her family; she took immense pride in watching it grow over the years.
She was a loving mother to her children, Sherryl Tarnaske (Timo Vainionpää) and Annette Henry (Joe Henry). Barbara was also the cherished Gramma to Owen Tarnaske, Allison Eckensweiler (Lee Eckensweiler), and Sarah Henry. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Kathy Bedard (Perry Bedard). She was predeceased by her husband, Brian Nicholas Drury, in 2013. Her legacy of love and devotion will live on forever in their hearts.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Innisfree House for their exceptionally compassionate care during Barbara’s final days.
According to Barbara’s wishes, there will be no funeral or formal services. In lieu of flowers, donations to Innisfree House would be appreciated by the family to honour her memory.
