It is with sad hearts that her family announces, Bonnie has passed away quietly on Monday, April 26, 2021 at the age of 78 years.

She was the loving mother of Paul (Ann), and Michelle (Kirk). Dear Nana of Nolan and Payton. Loved sister of, Dennis and Cathy, and predeceased by her brother Terry and sister Darlene.

Bonnie had an artistic look on life and was always painting, creating, or singing and dancing.  She had the luck of the Irish and loved to go to the casino and travel with any of her many friends and family. A dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. Dressing up for special occasions and watching her children, then her grandchildren, grow was a source of great pride that she held and bragged often to whomever would listen. I mean anyone. Her pride overwhelmed her at times which filled her with so much joy.

She made friends everywhere she went or worked and those bonds were for life and I am sure she will be watching over the Maryanne’s and so many of the others at Forest Heights LTC that she made smile and shared jokes with.  She was always so excited for each social event held and went big at halloween but Christmas was all about the glitter the more the merrier is how Bonnie approached her life.

A gentle, loving personality caused animals to flock to her and I know that she will be surrounded by her many fur-babies in heaven. Rudy is waiting with his ring to greet her and I know that there will be a huge line up for cuddle time.

A Celebration of Life will take place when we all can gather together, dance/sing and share our memories! Leave us a message for an invitation. Mom has always been my guardian angel, now she will have wings to watch over us all with love.

Sincere sympathy to Bonnie’s family. I knew her from Forest Heights where she was the perfect person to assist everyone at reception with her smile and attentiveness.

Pat and I are sending sincere condolences to all of you. Bonnie was such a fun loving cousin, I will always remember her smile and love of life. Bonnie and Gil lived down the street from us in Scarborough and so we saw them often. Bonnie was even my Girl Guide leader. She will certainly be greatly missed. Sending hugs and love,
Gloria and Pat

My condolences to the whole family on the passing of my wonderful aunt and Godmother. I will always remember her kindness and her amazing sense of humour. As a boy, we were always excited to visit the Cyr house, see our big cousins Paul and Michelle and be spoiled by our Aunt and Uncle. Thank you for all the happy memories.

Love, Mike and family.

Michelle, Paul and family. My sincere sympathy. Many of us will miss Bonnie's beautiful smile, light hearted personality and warm hugs. I met Bonnie 23 years ago at Forest Heights where we worked together and it was soon apparent that she would be my best friend. It was such a pleasure watching the satisfaction she felt as she rescued so many stray cats from Forest Heights and gave them loving homes. I know they were waiting for her in Heaven. Bonnie was a fun travel partner, dance partner and casino partner, even though she was the one that always won the money. We shared many spiritual moments as her belief in Spirit Guides, Angels and Heaven were so very strong. I know that God and His spirit workers have welcomed Bonnie with open arms, love and peace. I know she will be watching over her children, grandchildren and her sibling, guiding them through their journey of life. Her family was the most precious part of her life. Bonnie, I will always love you very deeply for all the precious moments and memories you have given me to enrich my life over the last 23 years. I am looking forward to the time I can meet you in Heaven and we can dance and sing together once more. May you rest in peace my very good, loving and precious friend.

Bonnie was such a loving sister! She was the oldest sister and me being the youngest sibling, Bonnie spoiled me. She bought my first bike and even taught me to ride it. This is a memory I will always cherish!
She was fun loving and yes she did brag about the grandchildren, but why not, she was a proud grandmother.

I remember her flower shop. She had an eye for style and could dress on a dime!

Love you Bonnie, you will be missed.

Michelle and family,
I send you my condolences with huge hugs from my family to yours ❤️
Bonnie was a bright light every day that I went to work with her as well as created so many laughs at all of the social gatherings we were at together. She could make anyone laugh and always had a hug to share.
Michelle, I fully empathize what you have gone through and you are correct, she will be dancing with the angels.
She will be greatly missed!
