Beloved husband of Theresa (née Furbacher) Schropp. Dear father of John Schropp, Carla and Guenther Pernreiter, Mary Jo Schropp and Glen Maskerine, Susan and Sean Strongman, Lisa and Luke Totzke. Loved grandfather of Ben and Annaliese, Mary, Susan and Jessica, Thomas and Audrey, and Max, and great grandfather of Toni, Lenni, Konstantin, and the anticipated summer Baby. Dear brother of Annemarie Kuntz and Else Osbelt. Predeceased by siblings Alois, Hans and Hilde. As a lifelong musician and educator, he has touched and inspired so many lives. The light, love, wisdom and humour he brought to this world will never fade.
Carl’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Monday, February 19, 2024, from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Aleks Mazur, SAC officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
