My heart is broken for the time that we won't have together anymore. But I feel honored, loved and happy about every moment I shared with you. Love you uncle.

My Otata,
You were the best Otata I could’ve ever asked for and I loved you so much. You were so proud of me in everything that I do and always made sure I knew it. All of my accomplishments were your accomplishments. You inspired me to push myself and be the best at everything, just like you were. You were one of the strongest people in the world but also the funniest. You were the coolest Otata and I am so honoured to be your granddaughter. I will miss you more than I can describe but I will keep you in my heart and I will cherish every memory we have together. I will remember your scruffy beard against my face and your hugs that were so tight that I couldn’t breathe. I will remember the way you pinched my nose when I told you that it was too big and the proud look on your face when mama or I would show you the things I’ve done. You told me I was perfect, and I knew that to you, I was. I am so incredibly sad you left us but I know, in my heart, that you and Mama Ana are finally together again. Keep dancing in the sky and I will dance for you here my Otata.
-your princess, Madi

My uncle Adilé, you left us unexpectedly. We are all broken. You were such a special soul. According to my mom: what you saw is what you got. Strong willed, opinionated but charming, and with a heart of gold. You were an honest, kind, happy, creative, optimistic and hard working man. You loved life and you always saw the cup as being half full.
Adilé, You were my uncle, I grew up under your eyes, you treated me like your own and you showed me, in my childhood years what a father is. I will forever be grateful for that.
You also had a special relationship with Tony and your great nieces, Bella and Lilly and they will miss you so much.
You loved your parents Bela and Antoneta and you treasured your sibling Eugen and Daniela. You had such a special connection with my mom, your little sister Daniela and her husband Antonio. You spent countless hours, chatting about the past, making plans for the future, cooking together, fishing, camping, watching renovation shows like ‘the brothers’ and talking over video chats for hours at a time, day or night. You were a family man. Family was number one in your life and everything else was second to that. You loved and treasures your family, especially your true love Ana, your boys Robert and Toni and your ‘princessa lu Tata’ Lorena who was the sunshine of your world. Once your kids got married, you became a proud Aba-in-law to Milan, Ana and Kaylin. Then, you became an Otata. Your grandchildren lit up your existence. Isabella, Christian, Madi, Dominik, Steffen and Eddie were your true joys and pride during your golden years. Also, when you retired, you decided that you needed a buddy. You found him in a small white, four legged friend, named Bobitza. Little did you know that he would become your best friend. You were/and still ARE a beautiful light in our lives that will continue to shine forever. You have impacted many people and you will be missed by all that knew you. My beautiful uncle, Adilé, may you Rest In Peace

Adrian was such a loving father who gave his family everything he had and more. I have been fortunate to witness the love, strength, inspiration and devotion this beautiful man gave to his children and grandchildren on several occasions. Adrian was a great father who made special memories and took them on great adventures. He always put his family first and made countless sacrifices. He was patient and made the time for his children. Not to mention a great teacher and inspiration to all. From the moment we meet you at the annual camping trip in Goderich and through watching your daughter raise her own children over the years. I can assure you that your efforts on earth did not go in vain. Rob, Tony and Carla will continue your work because of the values you instilled in them. It was a pleasure and a privilege to meet you. May you find your Ana and rest in eternal piece. Thank you very much for leaving this world with such a legacy.

Carol was a very nice man, family-oriented, and a nice friend to have him around. Fool of life and jokes. Every time we meet or talk, the family was the most important topic. He showed me every picture that he captured during family and grandchildren events, and he was so proud of all of them.
Sincere condolences to the entire family.
Rest in peace Carol, you will remain with us forever.

My favorite uncle with a big smile, who had such a positive outlook on life. A great artist that was taken away from us way too soon. Someone who inspired and encouraged me to pursued my art. I am so thankful!
One of my favorite memories of him was playing backgammon and sharing life stories . He was such a good listener and a great story teller. Going fishing together was always such a treat. We used to have so much fun.
I am going to miss you, unchiule... I am going to miss you....
Rest in peace! I love you!
