Catherine Shaw

Predeceased by her husband Clifford Shaw and later by her devoted partner James Andrew. Catherine was the only daughter of three children born to Alfred and Madge Griffiths (Collins) in Guelph. She spent most of her adult life there, and was a cherished member of the community.

Loving mother of Bruce Shaw (Nancy) and the late Linda Litschgy, Catherine was the dearest mother-in-law to James Litschgy. She was the adored grandmother of Gary Litschgy (Erika), Brian Litschgy (Ambur), Stephanie Fasulo (Nick), Samantha Shaw (Scott Cino), Nicole Pyett (Graham Baldwin) and Andrew Pyett (Kate Layard). Cherished great-grandmother to Ethan, Ryan, Felicity, Jocelyn, Dominic, Oz, Ivy, Olivia, Erik and Freya.

She was predeceased by her brother Kenneth Griffiths (Patricia) and is survived by her brother George Griffiths (Barbara). Catherine was a beloved aunt and cousin to many.

Catherine leaves behind a legacy of love and touched the lives of all who were fortunate to know her. She was a truly special person who will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, September 21 at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, 519-743-8900, from 1 - 2 pm. There will be a service of remembrance in the chapel at 2:00 pm.
