Charles George Haid

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Freeport Hospital on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Dolson) Haid for 40 years. Dear father of Chris Haid and his fiancé Lindsay Bairos. Loved grandfather of Addison Haid. Dear brother of Marjorie Brezina (George), Bernadette DeBoer (John), Anita Curtin (Paul), Stan Hardman, Marilyn Bailey (Rick), Kathy Tones (Gary), and Elaine Wright, all of Cambridge, Mike Dolson (Sue) of Palmerston, Jim Dolson of Hepworth, and Jack Dolson (Brenda) of Corunna. Predeceased by his mother Clara Sellner, father Sylvester Haid, brother George Haid, and sister-in-law Rosemary Hardman. Charles’ family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 305 Laurentian Dr., Kitchener, on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow.
