Christine, who I have known as Ida, was a member of the Order and was loved by all. She was always welcoming to her and Sonny’s home, no matter the circumstances. I will always remember her smile and her kind heart. I know you are going to a better place. Peace and God’s blessings. Farewell my Sister.

Saddened to hear about Christine's passing. I grew up on Hazelglen next door to Christine and Peter until I was about 10. I have so many fond memories of this beautiful soul that have stuck with me all these years later. We ran into them several years back and I couldn't believe how she remembered me. Sending love to Christine's family. ❤

Ida ( Christine ) I will always remember Ida for many reasons. One of, she was the third person that my wife, Viola, and I met when we came to Canada in the Spring of 1976. She and her husband, Sonny, were neighbors and on a warm Sunday evening whilst walking in the neighborhood of Victoria Hills we met and spoke. She greeted us with her infectious smile and welcomed us to the neighborhood, province and Canada. We're assured of her welcome in the presence of The Lord by His Spirit " absent from the body:present with The Lord God " Rest in peace. Winston/Venetta.

OUR SINCERE SYMPATHY to THE IRISH FAMILY, FROM THE THORNE FAMILY, REY, ELLEN and ESAN.
OUR thoughts goes out with sadness in the passing of a dear friend Ida, who had a magnetic personality, kind and courteous. She will be remembered always of the wonderful times we enjoyed of having herself and husband Peter as travelling companions. You will be missed. God saw you getting tired, when a cure is not to be, so He closed His Arms around you and whispered Come to Me.

Dear Peter, and Family,
Henry and I are so sorry for your loss. Words cannot truly express our sadness. We are remembering Ida with love and great respect. We can never forget how bravely and faith-filled she accepted her illness. She was a woman of great courage, love, and strength, a woman who was truly guided and inspired by the light of Christ. We will always remember her wonderful, gentle, and thoughtful soul. Her memories will remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
We wish we could be with you, Ken, Annette, Tanya, and the rest of your family. However, we completely understand the numbers constraint, and restrictions, at this time of pandemic. We hope you will find this prayer comforting:
God of all consolation, your Son Jesus Christ was moved to tears at the grave of Lazarus his friend. Look with compassion on Peter, his family, and on all your children in their loss; give to their troubled hearts the light of hope and peace, and strengthen in them the gift of faith, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Blessings, love, and hugs from Henry, and I. Marita+

Dear Uncle Sonny, Ken, Annette, Tanya, Dominique, Shaunna, Dante, Marjorie, Ronald and great-grand children:
My simple message in remembering Mrs. Christine Irish (Aunty Ida) is that she taught so many of us how to live, and in her final days, she taught us how to die.

Aunty Ida was a wonderful lady, full of love and laughter. She always had a kind word. In her latter days, she was aware of her failing health, yet she remained joyous and faith-filled. She was an inspiration. Memories of her will always bring a smile.
May God wrap Uncle Sonny, Kenneth, Aunty Marj and the rest of the family in his loving arms, giving comfort like only He can.
Praying for you all in this time of loss.
