David Richard Gray

The family of David Richard Gray, 58, are saddened to announce his passing, suddenly, on September 25, 2017. Beloved son of Patricia Gray and the late Ronald. Left to mourn are his brothers and sisters: Stephen (Laurie), Michael (Joan), Connie (Dr. Earl Lautenschlager), Julie (Hugh Koebel), Lisa (Ron Warren), John (Nina), Jeff (Rose), Bob (Kathy), Joel (Karin) and Mary (Murray Hundt). Uncle Dave will be missed by 23 nieces and nephews and 17 great-nieces and nephews. Special appreciation to the Voelzing family. He is predeceased by his grandparents David and Elizabeth Gray and William and Viola Lessard. David’s working life was spent as an upholsterer, the last years of which were at Krug Furniture. Excelling in the art of Pyrography, he left so many with wonderful examples of his work which will be treasured always. Giving him great pleasure was his shiny Harley Davidson of which he was so proud. The family will receive relatives and friends from 7 to 9pm on Sunday October 1st, 2017 at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener, 519-743-8900. The memorial service will take place at 10am on Monday October 2nd, 2017, in the chapel of the Memorial Celebration Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ray of Hope would be appreciated and can be arranged through the funeral home.
