David Dowling Shaw

Dear loving husband of Gail Shaw (nee McTavish) of Kitchener. Devoted father of John of Toronto, Bradley (Mary) of St. Louis, Missouri and Lori (Riley) Culhane of London.

Sadly missed by grandchildren Taylore, Braedon and Caroline Shaw and Aiden and Luke Culhane. Survived by sisters Margaret Mossey of St. Mary’s and Agnes Givens of Fergus.

Predeceased by parents Stanley and Elizabeth Shaw of Arthur and brothers Stewart, Bill and Alex Shaw.

The family will receive friends and family at the Westmount Funeral Chapel (519) 743-8900, 1001 Ottawa St. South, on Tuesday, December 12 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at 1 o’clock at Calvin Presbyterian Church. A time of fellowship and refreshments will immediately follow the service. Spring interment will take place at Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur, Ontario.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be greatly appreciated by Dave’s family.

A very sincere “thank-you” to all of the nurses, doctors and physiotherapists at Grand River Hospital for the wonderful care shown to Dave.
