Dorothy Ann was married to Ken Carter of Kitchener for sixty-five years.
She will be sadly missed by Cathy Larmond (George d. 2008), Chris Carter, Jeff Carter (Dayna) and Eli Carter-Morgan (Jen). She was loved greatly by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Dorothy Ann was a high school English teacher as well as teaching Adult Education. She was also very involved with her church, which for the last sixty-three years was Forest Hill United Church, where she taught Sunday School for decades, sang in the choir, did church services at three nursing homes, and was active in United Church Women at the local, presbyterial and conference levels. She was also a Representative to Waterloo Presbytery and Hamilton Conference.
