Aunt Trish, Uncle Ron, and Cousin Derrek, 

It is with deep sympathy that I express to you the sadness brought to myself, and all those who love Dylan, with the news of his passing.  I have thought of you all often over the past weeks. Dylan is a good-hearted and kind young man, and he will be missed by many. 

Though the pain of losing your son and brother will persist, your memories of him will live on through each of you. I will remember Dylan's smile and laugh, and the times we shared with our families through the years. Christmas at Grandma and Poppa's and hide and seek in the basement, shooting cans at the cottage, failed fishing voyages filled with laughter, wipeouts on tube thanks to Uncle Ron's boat driving, racing go-karts at Sports World, birthday pies in the face at Moose Winooskis, and sitting around the table catching up on everyone's lives. 

There will be good days, and there will be bad days, and only time can heal. Give yourselves space and time you need to grieve, you are never alone.

You are loved.

Trish, Ron and Derrick,
We are so sorry for your loss of Dylan. We have so many fond memories of the time he spent with Alex and his friends at our home on Whisperwood Court. He was such a a fun loving kid and we especially remember the hours the boys spent playing baseball off of the diving board in our pool. The batter would stand on the diving board and he would use one of our younger kids pool toys as a bat and the pitcher would pitch a dodge ball for the batter to hit and the kids would swim around the bases. Dylan would hit the ball so hard it would end up on the other side of our neighbour's backyard (and our yards were far apart). 

The loss of Dylan is heartbreaking and we can't even begin to express how sorry and sad we are for your family. Please know that we are thinking of you and we hope you find a few smiles in the memories people share with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Dylan's sudden passing and offer my prayers and deepest sympathy.     I  had the real pleasure of meeting Dylan  when he came to our house to help his Dad install some lights.    Dylan was a beautiful and kind young man and cheerfully followed every instruction.     
May your happy memories of Dylan give you comfort and solace through this terrible time.
