He is together again with his beloved wife June and precious son Tom. He was a devoted and loving father to Debbie (Rich), Terry (Bonnie), Dan, and Tim (Joanne). Special Grandpa to David, Jennifer, Amanda, Chrissy, Jeffrey, and Bob. Great Grandfather to William, Victoria, Rylan, Luca, Lily, Danielle, and Isabelle. Survived by his sister Herta and predeceased by sisters Elizabeth and Ida and brother Martin. Ed was a talented musician, enjoying many “jams” with family and friends. He was also an avid fisherman, passing this love onto his family. Ed and June had a wonderful and adventurous life together, travelling in their motorhome and spending summers at their beautiful Georgian Bay island: Illusion Isle. He leaves behind a family who will miss him greatly, but who are blessed with amazing memories. Ed was a true gentleman and a kind and compassionate man who cared deeply about his family. He lived his life with dignity and grace, and will be in our hearts forever. Ed’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Monday, March 25, 2019, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at New Apostolic Church, 160 Margaret Ave., Kitchener, on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with Shepherd Kevin Hankins officiating.
